Ground was broken Tuesday at the site of a luxury apartment building in Yonkers.

Local lawmakers joined developer Martin Ginsburg Tuesday to break ground on the River Tides at Greystone, which will be located at 1133 Warburton Ave. The 10-story luxury apartment building will have 330 units, complete with a full spa and concierge services.

People who already live in the area say they are looking forward to the apartment being built, as it will improve their property values. However, others are concerned it will make the area too crowded, especially with parking.

The apartments are set to be completed by the spring of 2016.
