Greenburgh's town supervisor is asking Con Edison to restore power more quickly to the area following Friday's storm.

There are still 1,500 homes in the town without power, primarily due to trees falling on power lines.

"They are not only outraged, they are freezing," Supervisor Paul Feiner says. "Con Ed is short-handed. They don't have enough staff."

Unsatisfied with the response, Feiner contacted the Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office, which is now sending out the National Guard.

"Hopefully that will expedite the recovery process," he says.

Feiner says he hopes the governor declares a State of Emergency - that way, towns and cities across the Hudson Valley will be eligible to apply for reimbursement for the hours worked during the cleanup.
