A Greenburgh police officer denied allegations of a kinky sex liaison with a dominatrix during his testimony at a disciplinary hearing.
Gina Pane made claims she engaged in a kinky sex act with Officer Erik Ward to get a drug charge dropped. Pane, who was arrested in January on a DWI and marijuana possession charge, claims she was sexually harassed by police officers after they discovered her profession. Ward, whose job is on the line, told the board at the hearing that he met with Pane to recruit her as an informant. He claims he never engaged in a sex act with her or promised to get the charges dropped.
Ward was suspended from the force after the allegations. He will go through his third round of the disciplinary hearing Thursday night. Meanwhile, he is also in the midst of a criminal trial involving the charge of official misconduct stemming from the same matter. That trial continues on December 4. Pane also is planning a lawsuit against the department for harassment.
