The Greenburgh police officer at the center of the dominatrix sex scandal is awaiting his fate Wednesday on whether or not he can return to the force.
The Greenburgh Town Board is trying to determine whether Officer Erik Ward, who was suspended with pay from the Greenburgh Police Department following an incident last year with a professional dominatrix, will be allowed back on the job. The accuser, Gina Pane, claims she was harassed by police officers after her arrest in January for DWI and drug possession. Pane also claims that the day after her arrest she engaged in a sexual act with Ward in exchange for the charges against her being dropped.
Ward, however, says they did discuss the sexual habits of her clients but they did not have sex. Ward was found not guilty of official misconduct in a separate criminal trial.
There is no word yet on when the board's decision will be handed down.
