Hudson Valley bride out $1,500 after wedding videography company shuts down

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Saturday to welcome Mister Croissant Bakery & Café to Middletown.

The new bakery at 28 North St. unveiled their menu featuring an assortment of pastries, cakes and fresh coffee.

Staff said they were proud to sell over 450 croissants within the first hour.

Founder Rakesh Nayak was born and raised in India before attending one of the top pastry schools in France.

He has worked for cruises, hotels and was the head chef for Cipriani Restaurants nationwide.
