The Ossining High School graduation ceremony Friday was an extra special occasion for four students headed to one of the country?s most prestigious universities.
Zehra Hirji, Yang Li, Ryan Williams and valedictorian Sarah Joselow will begin their collegiate careers at Harvard in the fall. Hirji says she plans to study international relations and hopes to one day become secretary general of the United Nations.
Principal Joshua Mandel says he is proud of all of the graduates this year, but adds that Ivy League honors are special. He says having four students go to Harvard in one year is an outstanding testament to the entire school district.
