Gov. Kathy Hochul signed six new gun safety bills into law in New York.
One of the new laws requires dealers and gunsmiths to post a sign where firearms are sold, displayed or delivered warning about suicide and other types of firearm-related deaths.
Another law will require credit card companies to assign a unique tracking code to gun and ammunitions dealers in the state.
