Traveling is about to become much easier for new moms in New York.
Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) has just signed legislation requiring some airports to provide a space for mothers to breastfeed or pump.
Officials say these areas will be beyond the security screening area and out of the public view, where parents can have privacy.
Hochul started pushing for this after hearing from moms who described just how challenging it is to hustle through the airport, search for a semi-private area, feed or pump, and get to their flight on time.
