Casinos and their employees hope to hear this week when they will be reopen in New York and the Hudson Valley.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo hinted yesterday that New York State's casinos could be allowed to reopen soon.
More than 900 people were furloughed from Empire City Casino in Yonkers months ago due to the pandemic.
The reopening would be helpful based on the revenue the casinos bring in, and the many employees that work there.
