A Republican U.S. Senate hopeful made a campaign stop in Rockland County Monday.
Joe Pinion was in New City Monday. Pinion is one of several Republicans looking to unseat incumbent Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Schumer is seeking a fifth term and is said to already have a campaign war chest of $31 million.
Even though the race won't be decided for months, Pinion hopes his background in nonprofit health care, the private sector and as a public figure will persuade voters to support him at the ballot box in November.
"I place my heart in their hands. I hope they place their vote and their trust in mine. And together we can build a New York that works for every single one of us," says Pinion.
