The Republican hoping to become the next lieutenant governor of New York visited Westchester yesterday.
Chris Moss, Rob Astorino's GOP running mate, courted voters Wednesday at the Port Chester Senior Center.
The Elmira native offered up his reaction to the decision by the New York Times not to endorse Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo for re-election this year.
"It's unusual, but it sends a strong message [on] the direction the state is going," he says. "Cuomo has made no decision on natural gas. He is up to his ears with [the] Moreland scandal. If I were the New York Times, I wouldn't endorse him either."
Cuomo's running mate, former Buffalo Congresswoman Kathy Hochul, has not made any campaign stops in Westchester yet.
