Good Samaritans help neighbors get COVID-19 vaccination appointments

Good Samaritans across Westchester County are doing their part to help their neighbors get the COVID-19 vaccination.
News 12 met up with four senior students at Rye High School who formed a hotline. They spend two hours each day after school fielding calls from seniors in their community who need help getting an appointment and find the process too overwhelming.
In Greenburgh, almost 150 volunteers who call themselves the COVID Angels devote their time to trying help seniors in their community. One volunteer called it a “labor of love.”
"There's lot of people who need help,” said Anne Hoehn. “…If you have the time and the resources to help them, they will be incredibly grateful."
The COVID Angels have booked dozens of appointments so far and say they will keep helping until there is no more need to do so.
