Get ready for some fun because Rye Playland is opening its doors this weekend!

The excitement kicks off on Saturday, May 18, with a performance by the "Lightning Drumline" from the Barack Obama School for Social Justice in Yonkers.

But that's just the beginning. Opening day will also feature strolling entertainers, face painters, airbrush tattoo artists, and more to keep the whole family entertained.

This summer, the park is celebrating a special milestone: The 95th birthday of the iconic Dragon Coaster! And that's not all. Rye Playland is bringing back favorites like "Movie Nights Under the Stars," fireworks displays, live entertainment, and even the world's largest rubber duck.

Don't forget to mark your calendars because Playland Pool-and-Beach will officially open on Memorial Day weekend.
