Time Out Market New York has officially opened its first ever rooftop IgLounge where guests can celebrate the winter season while enjoying some of the best food, drinks and views.
Located on the waterfront of Brooklyn’s Dumbo Neighborhood in the historic empire stores, Time Out Market New York is a food and cultural market bringing the best of the city under one roof.
Time Out New York Food and Drink editor Bao Ong and his team have taken this rooftop experience to a new level.
“We wanted to activate this terrace space which is unlike any other view that you have in Dumbo,” says Ong.
The three igloo-like domes seat up to eight guests and include faux fur lined chairs, fluffy blankets, warm insulation and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, the East River, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge.
Guests can dine with impressive food and delicious bites from some of the city’s best chefs and most beloved eateries.
The igloo-like domes will stay open until spring and are available on a first come, first serve basis with no reservations or entrance fees required.
The Market is currently offering $12 lunch specials from 13 vendors through the weekdays from 11a.m.-3p.m. The lunch special includes one lunch dish and  complimentary soft drink redeemed from the Time Out Market bars.
The Market also holds happy hour every day from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and offers $5 beer, $7 wines, and $8 drinks.
