Garrison Union Free School District appoints new superintendent
The Garrison Union Free School District has announced Dr. Gregory Stowell as its new superintendent.
Dr. Stowell will take on this role, succeeding Superintendent Carl Albano, who retired in September and served as interim superintendent during the search for a replacement.
Dr. Stowell brings extensive experience to his new position, having previously served as the assistant superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services for the Eastchester Union Free School District and as the assistant superintendent for Pupil Personnel and Educational Services at the Mahopac Central School District.
He is set to be appointed at the next board of education meeting scheduled for today at 7 p.m. in the Learning Commons.
