Furry friends in White Plains got a chance to make a big splash to mark the end of summer yesterday.
The Kittrell Pool closed to humans just after Labor Day, but doggies were able to take a dip yesterday before it's drained for the winter.
The parks department has been doing this end of summer splash for the past four years. "You know what, it's 90 degrees today, and as you can see for yourself the dogs are having a great time," says White Plains Recreation and Parks Department Commissioner Wayne Bass.
Even though many made a big splash, some dogs, like a dachshund named Tanner, decided that chilling out poolside is the way to go.
