Hundreds of people in southern Israel paid their respects to a 4-year-old boy who was killed in a mortar attack from the Gaza Strip.
Daniel's great aunt, Dora Mejicovsky, lives in Yonkers. She says she spoke with Daniel every day over her computer.
"He just started his life... He's not going to get the chance to live it," Mejicovsky told News 12.
Daniel is the youngest Israeli child to die since the conflict began on July 8.
At his funeral, Israeli leaders said his death will not be in vain.
