A fuel spill near the George Washington Bridge made traffic a nightmare Tuesday for Bronx commuters.
Drivers sat in traffic for miles on the Cross Bronx Expressway, some waiting for hours to get to their destination. On top of the spill, diverted traffic from the United Nations general meeting made for additional congestion on the road.
Some motorists told News 12 The Bronx gridlock was so bad they didn't make it to work.
