Hundreds of residents in New Rochelle are still without power.
Some Con Edison customers are on their eighth day without power despite robocalls reportedly announcing that the power would be back on by Friday night.
Con Ed CEO John Macavoy admitted that there was a glitch in the communications system.
Ann Anderson's lights were turned back on after a week but her frustrations are still lingering.
"It was very difficult to get in touch with Con Ed," Anderson says. "The only way to reach them was on their website and I tried to file a claim a couple of times. It kept getting kicked back. I checked back daily on the status of this neighborhood but there was really nothing there other than an estimated date that changed every single day.”
Con Ed says the number of customers without power dropped by 40 percent Friday night.
They say the 1,700 customers affected by last Friday's storm will have power by Sunday night and the remaining customers will have theirs back by Monday night.
