? A Bronx boy helped win his Throgs Neck classroom a makeover courtesy of a television show.

Fourth-grader John Bonvino?s essay about his teacher was picked out of 10,000 for the show "While You Were Out." Classmates and Teacher Shannon O?Grady are proud of Bonvino. Students say their old classroom was ordinary, but now it?s full of color, new computers and plants.

O?Grady plans to urge other teachers to have their students write letters in next year?s competition for a $25,000 makeover.
