A forum was held at Purchase College Wednesday to address offensive images that appeared in campus buildings this month.
Racially charged epithets, including swastikas and nooses, were found scribbled across dorm room walls at the campus.
The offensive images first appeared March 18 and again on March 20.
Students say more messages of hate appeared over the weekend, this time at the campus center. The messages were reported to campus police, who were part of a forum at the college Wednesday afternoon.
The District Attorney's Office is now investigating the incidents as a felony hate crime.
Campus police say they are looking for witnesses and are following up on anonymous tips.
