A former Yonkers Parks Department employee who was originally charged with kidnapping has now admitted to a weapons charge.
Owen Drain, 37, entered the plea in Federal Court in Manhattan, according to court documents.
His attorney says the kidnapping indictment will be dismissed when he is sentenced in September.
The 2019 incident occurred in the Bronx.
The 30-year-old woman was able to escape and called for help.
Drain's attorney says his remorseful client accepts full responsibility for his actions and notes he is a different person now and appreciates how wrong his actions were.
