Former Hudson Valley Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D) has embarked on a new journey.
He's bound for Paris to serve as the U.S. Ambassador for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The organization, comprised of 37 democracies with market-based economies, focuses on developing policy standards to foster sustainable economic growth, as per the State Department.
Maloney, a Democrat who served five terms in Congress, was defeated by Republican Mike Lawler
