A former tax collector in Beekman is scheduled to be sentenced for embezzling $86,000.

Dutchess County officials say Jennifer Colucci, 41, pleaded guilty in 2022 to using the money to shop online, order food deliveries and make car loan payments.

Colucci has been ordered to pay back the money she stole.

She is scheduled to be sentenced in Dutchess County Court on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
