State rangers are monitoring for hot spots after a massive brush fire in Orange County.
The flames started in an orchard located just off Route 94 in the village of Chester. The fire stretched for six miles, spanning several towns.
The blaze was contained to mostly wooded farm areas.
Fire officials say it started by an industrial freight train that left burning embers on the track. They say train service resumed once the fire was under control.
