It is Friday and that means another food truck is here and we hope you brought your appetite. Terror is outside the studios right now with five alarm pizza company. No matter how you slice it looks like you're having a lot of fun. Lisa, I am fired up literally figuratively. I mean, this place is unbelievable. The setup is incredible and it is the work of some amazingly talented guys with such a deep connection to our first responders. We have David, we've got Joe, we've got Tyler over there putting that pizza in. We have Damien. We'll check up with him in just a few minutes. But David, I'm gonna start with you because this was like a love project, combining your background and the love for your grandson. Yeah, I bought the truck to drive the grandkid around about eight years ago. Lucky grandkid. Yeah. And uh after a few months parking it not using it. My wife is like, what are you gonna do with it? I said maybe I'll make a pizza truck out of it and that's what we did. And how has the success been? The response been to something like this? Uh the first year was crazy. I had to build a second truck. I have another one, the same type of truck, but it's all black with a blue line. I support the police officer in our country. Uh We had it here last year. Yes, we had it here last year. Show us some of the pies. Joe. Can you take us to some of the favorites? What do people love? Uh, people like the Prosciutto and uh arugula. Uh basically everything. Uh pie is really good. How could you not like all this? They got variety here. We know the last year you brought dessert pie so good. Yeah, we have a bacon and egg with ketchup yellow American cheese. I have a plain pie. We have a margarita pie with the basil and fresh mozzarella, pepperoni. We have a, a white pie with sausage and hot honey and peppers and onions. Delicious, delicious. And we know that when it comes to firefighter first responders, it's always a family affair. So he brought in his family members. Tell us why you wanted to get involved with this. Oh, I'm a foodie at heart. So I mean, I love working here and it's hard to not eat the pizza. Um and it's fun. So why not family business? And I'll help out. I was gonna say that like there's no such thing as too much pizza even when you have what? 2468 pies, one fresh out of the oven. Damian is the guy. I understand. He's not a man of many words, but he is the mastermind chef behind it. He's over here cranking them out, throwing them up there in the oven. So coming up in our next hour, he's gonna let me get behind find the concoctions, mastermind something of my own. I won't be able to do it as good as him, but I promise I'll give him a run for his money. I'm going to be on fire too out here with five alarm pizza. They have great events coming up. Lisa, tell the people where they can see them soon. All right. Well, five, a pizza company is always supporting the community. Tara bringing a bacon egg and cheese pizza to the studio here. Got to love that, but their next event is at the pal Touch a truck in Stony Point so you can check them out there. You know, last week it was the ice cream truck this week it's the pizza. We're gonna have to put her to the test. She did pretty good on the ice cream swirl better pizza maker, better ice cream. Well, speaking of fun, it is Food Truck Friday and we hope you brought your appetite today outside our studios right now is five alarm Pizza company, Tara. We know some heroes wear blue, some wear red and some just bring that extra cheese. Yes, they do. I was gonna say sound the alarm. Actually. No sound 55 alarm pizza company is with us. These guys are unbelievable. This truck, check it out. Unbelievable. This pizza oven here comes all the way from Italy. So you know, they're doing it right and they're doing it with a great mission behind it. A great message that comes along with every delicious pie. You see right here, David's kind of the mastermind behind it all. Tell me a little bit about your first responder connection and why this is so important to you. I'm a volunteer fireman. Uh oh my God. Since the mid eighties, uh retired police officer from Harrison, New York. That's it. When this truck pulls up, what do you want people to take away? I mean, obviously you want them to take away great slices. But what is the message that comes along with this? Well, my guys, we go to the jobs to have fun. We don't really call it work. Uh, all my guys have full time jobs so they come with me and they just kind of relax but they do their thing and they know what they're doing. I have Damien. He's been a pizza guy for over 25 years. He's a professional firefighter for White Plains. Uh, my nephew has been with me for a few years. I got my brother in law here. He's been a few years with me. So we just like to have fun. Make everybody smile, making it a family affair. I love this. The 911 supporting First responders and military up here too. Tyler, tell me about the best part about being a part of the pizza factory you have going on here. Yeah. Um, just being a part of parties and making people's event, the event that it is and making it unique because of our truck coming there and it's fun to always just, you know, be personable with everyone at the parties. It's fun and this truck be such a hit because I mean, how could it not be? All right, Damian is a man who tells me of little words, but he is the mastermind chef and he told me I can make pizza. Now, I'm gonna be standing next to the pro. So this is a little scary for me, but we're gonna give it a whirl. All right. Sauce to start. We're gonna dump the sauce to start. All right. Oh, look, I already didn't do what you said. All right. All right. We're going here. You wanna just get all of it out and then start spending it. He's trusting it to the edges to you. What makes the perfect pie? Um, the ratio of sauce of cheese and you know, obviously cooking it perfectly. We'll make it. How's my ratio so far in sauce? All right. What's next? The cheese? My favorite. A classic Margarita also my favorite. And what's the design in this? Like how many slices usually? Probably like 10 or so? Ok. Ok. We gotta go fast. We're not my TV. And they're gonna trust me to put this into the oven. Yeah. Get in here guys. This is gonna be pie perfection. I'm handing the mic off because I'm gonna toss this into again the imported oven from Italy. Don't forget we're cooking at about 900 degrees. So these p cook in about 90 seconds. Perfect. And she did it. They told me the oven is cooking at 900 degrees. Lisa. So yeah, you better believe out here with five alarm pizza. We are on fire. Ok? On fire. Not too hot to handle for you. Terry. I only have 90 seconds before it's done. They tell me I gotta watch this thing. Ok? Bring it back up to the studio so we can enjoy it and if you want to enjoy some of five alarm pizza's company. It's always supporting the local community. Their next event is the Pal Touch a Truck event in Stony Point. Remember, you can also hire this truck for private events as well. So, uh, Tara now has another things she can add to her already stellar roster of skill. Fantastic. And I only have about 30 seconds until I'm done. So let's get to that one. I'm not saying it's wrong. It's well worth seeing Tara try to make some pizza. And, uh, how about a mood cast? That's worth a slice too as we go throughout the rest of the day today.
