The rain comes as cleanup continues in parts of Westchester County following destructive storms over the holiday weekend.
Hastings, Yonkers, Mount Vernon and New Rochelle were among the communities hit hardest by the storms.
Officials said some of the downed trees are so large that it could take days for crews to remove them.
