STORM WATCH

Storm leaves several inches of snow in the Hudson Valley

Smoke and flames forced five adults and an infant out of their home in New Rochelle late last night.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Brookdale Avenue. Heavy flames were spewing out of the second floor and then quickly spread into the attic.
More than two dozen firefighters took about an hour and a half to get the blaze under control. Two firefighters were sent to a hospital with minor injuries.
The Westchester Red Cross is helping the family.
