Five off-duty Yonkers police officers are on medical leave after being hurt in a fight Friday night outside a local bar on Main Street in Yonkers. Police say the cops were celebrating a colleague?s birthday when a fight started inside the bar, Tyrone?s House, and spilled out into the street. The off-duty officers were reportedly hurt while trying to break up the scuffle. Four of the officers were treated at Saint John?s Hospital, but one officer with more serious injuries was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. All five of the off-duty cops have since been released and are recovering at home. Police have arrested and charged five Yonkers men with assault.
