A heart-warming story that begins with a stolen bicycle.
On Sept. 18, Fishkill Police Officer Caban responded to a report of a stolen bicycle.
According to a Facebook post, the investigation eventually stalled and it appeared police would be unable to locate the bike.
At that point, Officer Caban took it upon herself to report the incident to the Town of Fishkill Police Benevolent Association, which donated $250 toward the purchase of a new bike.
