Police say local businesses have been targeted by a person or company identifying themselves as the Town of Fishkill Police Department soliciting donation.

Police say local businesses have been targeted by a person or company identifying themselves as the Town of Fishkill Police Department soliciting donation.
They say the calls can often look and sound very real.
The department stresses that at no time will the department sell, solicit or make any requests for donations by phone.
If you've received a call like they're describing, give the police department a call and report the scam at 845-831-1110.
