First responders call off search after report of someone falling through the ice on Rye Lake
Several local fire departments and the environmental police from New York City called off a search over Rye Lake after two fishermen reported that someone may have fallen through the ice Sunday afternoon.

Several local fire departments and the environmental police from New York City called off a search over Rye Lake after two fishermen reported that someone may have fallen through the ice Sunday afternoon.
Those fishermen say they saw someone walking on the ice but when they turned away the person was gone.
The first responders searched from the air and from the water, but called off the search after they say they couldn’t find any signs that someone fell through the ice.
