First day of early voting in Westchester sees lower than expected turnout

Early voting for the gubernatorial primaries kicked off Saturday in Westchester and voting numbers were lower than expected.
The early voting period will continue through June 26. Primary Election Day is June 28.
There are 23 voting centers just in Westchester County. Voters are expected to choose candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and state Assembly.
Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner says an expected 25% turnout for this election is terrible.
At an early voting center in White Plains, a poll worker told News 12 that by midday only about 20 people had voted at the location.
For anyone voting absentee, they can drop off their ballot at a voting location.
