The Yonkers firefighters union says they are being forced out of their current office because the union group does not see eye to eye with Mayor Mike Spano.
The union operates out of the second floor at 470 Nepperhan Ave. in Yonkers.
The group was told on Feb. 1 that they had to move downstairs to a vacant area.
Union president Barry McGoey says the space does not work for him to discuss confidential information and the space is not move-in ready.
The city plans on moving the chamber of commerce into the union's current space.
Yonkers Fire-Local 628 did not support Mayor Spano during his re-election bid, but a city spokesperson denies the move has anything to do with that.
The union says it will work with the city if these issues are resolved and they will relocate.
