New Rochelle firefighters responded to a fast moving house fire early Sunday afternoon.
The house located at 32 Webster Avenue was fully engulfed in flames by the time the first units arrived on the scene. Fire officials say the reason the fire spread so quickly and burned so hot, was because the house was covered with asphalt siding.
The Red Cross is assisting the families that have been displaced by the fire. The Westchester County Cause and Origin Unit was on hand to determine the cause of the fire.
