Police say the 9/11 Memorial Park in Washingtonville was vandalized on Wednesday.

Firefighters and members of the Junior ROTC are standing guard this morning at the 9/11 Memorial Park in Washingtonville after it was vandalized on Wednesday.
Police say the flagpole was knocked over and the sign for Saint Mary's Parish Center was also damaged.
They say the incidents appear to be related.
