Jared Lloyd, the Spring Valley firefighter who died while rescuing people in a fire at an assisted living facility in March, will be honored at a football game Saturday.

The game will feature the Tri-State Shields, a team comprised of law enforcement and military personnel from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

The Shields will be taking on a team from the FDNY.

The game will take place at Flowers Field in New Rochelle at 1 p.m. Lloyd’s family is expected to be at the game.
