? Parishioners celebrated the feast of Saint Anthony Sunday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
St. Anthony is often depicted with a bible and baby Jesus. He is the saint of lost objects, but many faithful say St. Anthony and the church have helped them find their way. This year?s festival is especially important to Mount Carmel because the church will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
The church was founded in 1906. Mount Carmel School was established in 1925 and both have been serving the Belmont community ever since.
