A fire swarmed through a bodega in Cypress Hills Saturday night, charring everything in sight – including upstairs apartments.
Residents at 360 Arlington Ave. above Fresh Deli and Grill have been displaced just days before Thanksgiving.
The FDNY has not confirmed the cause of the fire, but outside of the building was the burnt out remains of an e-bike on the sidewalk.
Fresh Deli and Grill's address is 3079 Fulton Street, though it is the same physical building as the apartments above it, whose front door is on Arlington Avenue.
While on scene today, News 12 spoke to Mark, who says his brother owns the bodega. He says it all happened so quick and there was no chance of saving his brother’s business.
Neighbors who were ready to order breakfast at their local bodega said they were distraught by the damage.
