An FDNY lieutenant from Montgomery was among those honored at Medal Day this week.

Lt. Michael "Mickey" Conboy was among a group of FDNY heroes honored by the Department Wednesday for their bravery and exemplary service in a ceremony that was live streamed to Facebook.

Conboy is credited for rescuing two people, including a young child, who were trapped and unconscious during an apartment fire in the Bronx in 2017.
