The family of a man found dead in Jerome Park Reservoir is speaking to News 12.

Markis Drummond, 31, was found dead in Jerome Park Reservoir on May 20. Police released his identity on Tuesday.

Nichol Gonzalez, the cousin of 31-year-old Markis Drummond, told News 12 that Drummond was more than his struggles.

"Markis was a tortured soul just like everyone else who walks this Earth, but he was funny, he loved his family dearly," said Gonzalez.

Services for Markis will be held Saturday in Yonkers.
