A man was found dead on the streets of Yonkers early this morning, according to authorities.
The Yonkers Police Department says it responded to a report of a male injured in a vehicle in the area of Willow Street and Mt. Carmel Place around 5 a.m.
Upon arrival, units discovered a male with an apparent gunshot wound to his head inside a Ford F-150 truck.
The male was pronounced deceased at the scene despite attempts to save his life.
His identity is not being released at this time, pending family notification.
This incident is currently being investigated as a homicide.
