The family of a man killed by a hit-and-run driver 10 years ago has not given up hope that the driver will be found.

May 31 marks 10 years since 36-year-old Jimmy McNicholas was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pearl River.

McNicholas was working as a bartender and a waiter and was on his way to meet a friend when an unknown vehicle struck him on Middleton Road.

Both of his parents died within a few years of the crash, but his sisters Megan and Kristin are making sure to keep his memory alive.

Together with Stony Point PBA, they hold a yearly blood drive and on the anniversary of the crash, they get together with friends.

Megan and Kristin say they are still hoping to find answers that will give them closure.
