The family of the Edgemont woman killed in the Valhalla train crash is now planning to sue Metro-North.
In February, Ellen Brody drove through the train crossing at Commerce Street when the gate came down on her SUV. Instead of backing up, she drove forward onto the tracks and into the path of a commuter train.
Brody and five train passengers were killed in the crash.
The family claims a badly designed crossing is to blame for the deadly accident. There is no word on how much money Brody's family is seeking.
