Family members are mourning the loss of a man who was fatally stabbed in the neck Saturday at a supermarket.
Michael Kohus, of Highland Falls, was shopping at ShopRite in Vails Gate when he was stabbed multiple times in the neck. Police say it was a random and unprovoked attack.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, the 35-year-old later died of his wounds.
Andrew Goodenough has been charged with murder in Kohus' death.
Investigators and Kohus' family say there is no known connection between the two men.
The funeral for Kohus is scheduled for Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Highland Falls.
