The search for the missing Edgemont teenager, who disappeared last week, continues this morning as her family and friends pray for her safe return.
Christine Kang, 16, has been missing since Friday, when her family says she argued with her parents and left their home on Robin Hill Road, in the Edgemont section of Greenburgh. She was wearing pajamas, but no coat, when surveillance cameras showed her taking a Metro-North train in Scarsdale, headed for New York City.
Fellow students at Edgemont High School are deeply concerned. "It sucks that she's gone. I just really hope that she comes back safe," says James Hammond. "One of my teachers was reading a script they were given to tell us about her and he was getting very emotional," adds Alexa Brody.
Anyone with information about Kang's whereabouts is asked to call Greenburgh police at 914-682-5300.
