Facebook celebrated its 15th anniversary Monday.

Dobbs Ferry native Mark Zuckerberg and his co-founders launched the social media website from a Harvard dorm room on Feb. 4, 2004.

The website currently has 2 billion online users from around the world.

Facebook's expansions include buying Instagram and taking the company public.

The company is currently working on making the website more secure.
