New York travelers are facing flight reductions as the government shutdown impacts major airports.
The FAA has cut 6% of flights at dozens of airports, including John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport, due to a shortage of air traffic controllers who are refusing to work without pay.

In the Hudson Valley, most flights at Westchester County Airport and Stewart International Airport are listed as on time, but there are some delays and cancellations.
The FAA says it plans to reduce flights even further on Friday if the shutdown continues.
