April is Alcohol Awareness Month, and to mark this, we're taking a road trip to Stepping Stones in Katonah - the Historic Home of Bill and Lois Wilson - cofounders of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon Family Groups.

Book a tour and immerse into their lives in the humble home, now a National Historic Landmark.

They lived and worked in the house from 1941, until Bill's death in '71, and Lois in '88.

Their stories are just as poignant as their process to create the 12-step recovery programs.

Memorabilia dates back to the beginning of 12-step recovery, with items that trace the work that Bill and Lois did worldwide.

The home will take visitors through many stories of how they embraced people and helped anyone.

Visitors will walk through the guestroom and their bedroom, which was also their place for prayer, and even their gallery where time stands still.

The tour will also take visitors to the writing studio, where Bill authored iconic works on the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The historic home is a milestone, an inspiration and a special place to many in the Hudson Valley and around the world.
