Matthew Campagna, of Coram, tells News 12 that he thought he was going to die after getting stabbed in the chest last month outside a Medford deli.

Campagna says he was there trying to sell an old iPhone to someone who responded to an ad he posted on Facebook Marketplace.

"I really didn't think I was going to make it." said Campagna.

Campagna says he chased after his attackers but says he was attacked again.

"The other person was behind me, they started punching me in the back of the head...next thing I know, I got either punched, kicked or stabbed."

Campagna says he had to have multiple blood transfusions and spent eight days in the hospital.

Sufffolk police tell News 12 the stabbing happened outside 495 Granny Road in Coram on March 25 at 7:20 p.m.

Police say Ali Gundogan, 19, of Shirley, a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male were arrested and charged with robbery and assault.
